The ADVERTISING Club Offers Health Insurance to its Members

We are pleased to announce that The ADVERTISING Club offers its members healthcare benefits. Through a partnership with Working Today - a nonprofit organization that provides advocacy, information and service to independent workers - The Club offers health insurance to individuals who have been a member for at least three months.

"We have members who are either independents, small business owners or currently between opportunities, and we feel it is imperative to provide them with an alternative means of receiving health care," says Executive Director Gina Grillo.

Working Today's plan offers The ADVERTISING Club members a comprehensive HMO health insurance plan with HIP of New York, featuring coverage for doctor and specialist visits at the best hospitals in New York, prescription drugs, hospitalization, emergency room services, and vision and dental coverage. Since this is a group rate, the monthly cost of $255.18 is significantly less than comparable individual plans, including many COBRA plans. To qualify, you must be a member of The ADVERTISING Club for at least three months prior to applying.

"Working Today has been recognized nationwide as a new delivery model for health insurance benefits," said Working Today Executive Director Sara Horowitz. "We're happy to partner with The ADVERTISING Club so that their members can have access to health insurance, regardless of their employment situation."
